Services

I work with couples and individuals whose lives have been affected by substance abuse.

About me and my practice

I qualified in 2009 as a couple psychotherapist from the Tavistock in London and set up in private practice. In 2012 I qualified as a psychosexual therapist and in 2023 I qualified as an addiction therapist, having completed an MSc in Addiction, Psychology and Counselling at London South Bank University. I am a member of BACP and COSRT. I have regular supervision and weekly therapy. I have a DBS check.

Outline of offer

I work with couples and individuals whose lives have been affected by substance abuse. I support my clients experiencing difficult times, strained relationships or sexual problems.

Experience

I have been in private practice for over 15 years. In 2009 I started work at the Tavistock, as a lecturer, tutor and supervisor on their couple psychotherapy training, their psychosexual training and their Couple Therapy for Depression programme. I have also trained IAPT therapists to work with couples. I volunteered for a year with WDP Merton, counselling people with substance abuse problems. After a break, I have returned to the Tavistock to teach on their Psychosexual therapy course, lecturing about Compulsive Sexual Behaviours.
