About me and my practice

I run Somerton Lodge, a sober hotel offering a variety of stays, from simple sober breaks to more intensive retreats with workshops. I also develop and provide a range of personalized audiobooks focused on positive affirmations and meditations, along with e-books covering wellbeing topics. I’ve also published several books available on Amazon. Additionally, I offer a virtual (or personal) rehab service through the Integrated Step Course, a flexible12-Step-focused rehab program that can last up to 24 weeks or beyond. I also provide ongoing online aftercare in partnership with various rehabs, (or individually) offering personal support that addresses a range of wellbeing and psychosocial needs.

Experience

With over 20 years in recovery, and multiple qualifications I have many years of experience working in the field of addiction recovery delivering training, writing books, designing treatment programmes and creating online resources.  

The main objective of the Practitioner Directory is to protect the public and help them find practitioners they can trust.

It aims to reassure clients, employers and the general public that AP Practitioner Members / Advanced Practitioner Members are committed to upholding our Standards of Conduct and Ethics. This is not a complete list of AP Practitioner/ Advanced Practitioner Members.  If you want to search the whole directory, please use the search box in the menu. Practitioners who are accredited with the National Counsellor Accreditation Certificate have 'NCAC' after their names. Practitioners who have the Drug and Alcohol Professional Certificate have 'ADAP' after their names.
