About me and my practice
Anna Elston is a highly skilled and compassionate addictions counsellor and qualified individual and group supervisor, with a private practice in Marylebone, London, Christchurch, Dorset, and online.

Having worked extensively in the private, public and charity sectors and at some of the most renowned addiction treatment centres in the UK, Anna has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families affected by various forms of addiction, including substance misuse, alcohol dependency, gambling and compulsive behaviours.
Holding a First Class Honours Degree in Addictions Counselling from the University of Bath, Anna employs an integrative therapeutic approach, utilising approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Relapse Prevention to facilitate meaningful change in the lives of others. Her person-centred, empathetic and trauma-informed approach ensures a safe, non-judgmental space for people to explore their challenges and work towards recovery.
Experience
Having lived in continuous sobriety for almost 20 years, Anna has a profound understanding of the courage required to seek help and maintain recovery. This lived experience enhances her ability to connect on a deeper level, fostering trust and resilience throughout the therapeutic process.
Anna strives to empower individuals to overcome addiction, offering tailored counselling that addresses the unique needs of each person seeking help.
