About me and my practice

I have worked in the field of addiction and substance use disorders for the past 16 years, working with mental and behavioural health in the UK and also overseas. I have worked as a clinical lead managing teams in private rehabilitation centres and worked in a variety of roles over the years, I am confident in all environments in supporting clients individually through private practice and also group facilitation through many years of experience in this area in residential settings. I also offer consultancy and case management to the addictions and healthcare industry.

Experience

I work with my clients with all forms of addiction and have experience in working with substance abuse, alcohol use disorder, gaming use disorder, gambling and sex and intimacy dysfunction. Working with all aspects of psychological, physical and emotional support with the use of a variety of models and modalities which i have trained in over the past 16 years, which include CBT, Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Body and internal Family Systems work all evidence based practices. The focus of sessions will always be to create a safe, positive framework for change, build hope, confidence, and try new ways of doing things through safety and reconnection to self and others.
