Addiction Counselling
About me and my practice
I have been in recovery from addiction for the past 12 years and have dedicated that time to educating myself in addiction treatment supporting clients on a 1.2.1 basis and group counselling.
Outline of offer
I offer 1.2.1 motivational sessions and addiction specific counselling to support lasting change for those suffering from trauma and blocks to personal growth due to addiction.
Experience
I am qualified to Degree level in Addiction Counselling and have been delivering individual and group sessions as part of my private practice for two years and I have six years experience working in the NHS as a Manager of a substance misuse service. I offer recovery coaching, reflections and solution focussed interventions.
The main objective of the Practitioner Directory is to protect the public and help them find practitioners they can trust.
It aims to reassure clients, employers and the general public that AP Practitioner Members / Advanced Practitioner Members are committed to upholding our Standards of Conduct and Ethics. This is not a complete list of AP Practitioner/ Advanced Practitioner Members. If you want to search the whole directory, please use the search box in the menu. Practitioners who are accredited with the National Counsellor Accreditation Certificate have 'NCAC' after their names. Practitioners who have the Drug and Alcohol Professional Certificate have 'ADAP' after their names.
