Addictions therapist with 20 years experience offering 1:1 therapy, group therapy and online therapy

About me and my practice

An Addictions therapist working equally effectively with process/behaviour and substance dependencies, including binge and relatively functional but dissatisfactory lifestyle choices and compulsive behaviours.

I work both online and in a 1:1 setting from my therapy room in rural Northamptonshire and in London.

Outline of offer

I have worked in various capacities including currently working for the NHS, supporting the health of healthcare professionals with NHS Practitioner Health and previously in residential settings as a Senior Therapist and a programme manager.

I have also worked within prison settings as a Drug and Alcohol Practitioner and established a residential rehabilitation programme when working in India.

I work in the field guided both by my personal life experiences and through professional and academic learning.

Experience

I work with presenting addictive behaviours and dependencies, working with clients to look at the underlying issues for such behaviours.

I use Integrative and holistic approach to work with self esteem issues which could result from adverse childhood experiences and overt or covert abuse.

On a day to day basis it could manifest and present as anxiety, depression, anger, relational and emotional issues.
