About me and my practice
I am an experienced accredited qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor (BACP) working in private practice with clients struggling with addictive/compulsive substance use or out of control behaviours. I see clients at my professional practice room in Nottingham or worldwide online.
Outline of offer
I come to my work with both lived experience and robust counselling training.
My experience includes working in addiction rehab and mental health settings including working for Priory Group providing both individual and group therapy. I have experience in both design and delivery of recovery sessions/therapy programmes. I describe my approach as pluralistic. I feel different clients find different approaches helpful, in collaboration with clients I seek to find their best way forward and into lasting recovery, including addressing any underlining issues as might be needed.
I draw on several modalities and ways of working as needed, including third wave CBT, psychotherapy, and other counselling modalities.
