About me and my practice

Coming for counselling and asking for help is a brave step. I can offer you a range of therapeutic interventions to help and encourage you with the changes or goals you wish to achieve. I believe change is possible for all and that the counselling relationship and tools used can facilitate this. I provide a safe place to explore your issues and feelings at the Magnolia Centre which is a very comfortable therapy centre in Nottingham.

Outline of offer

I have been in practice for 28yrs in the counselling and therapy field starting in the Priory hospital group facilitating group therapy for addiction. I am experienced in working with the 12 step model of recovery and co-dependency issues. I have training and experience in a variety of mainstream approaches such as CBT, Psycho-dynamic, Person centred, & EMDR for trauma. I also undertook specific training with ATSAC enabling me to work with issues relating to sex addiction. My fees are: £50 per session 1hr and £75 for couples. I offer face to face sessions in the evenings and occasional Saturday mornings.
