About me and my practice

I use creative & resourceful techniques to assist others break the cycle of addiction.. As a recovering person since 1994 I have a wealth of experience & learning to utilise & pull from to help others escape the destructive maze. Neurodiverse: discovered I had AADD in 2018

Outline of offer

Trust is paramount, that in mind my primary focus would be developing connection to enhance the therapeutic relationship - once established, the work begins for a gentle transition back to life.

Experience

Latest CPD was comprehensive IFS course (internal family systems) currently working on ‘working with the fear of rejection’ from NICABM - every day is a school day. I’ve been lucky enough to work with several amazing therapists in London - Bristol & Gloucester which supports my learning style: experiential - I have & do work with families of those suffering from addictions & facilitate an aftercare group weekly.

The main objective of the Practitioner Directory is to protect the public and help them find practitioners they can trust.

It aims to reassure clients, employers and the general public that AP Practitioner Members / Advanced Practitioner Members are committed to upholding our Standards of Conduct and Ethics. This is not a complete list of AP Practitioner/ Advanced Practitioner Members.  If you want to search the whole directory, please use the search box in the menu. Practitioners who are accredited with the National Counsellor Accreditation Certificate have 'NCAC' after their names. Practitioners who have the Drug and Alcohol Professional Certificate have 'ADAP' after their names.
