About me and my practice

Hello, I'm Woody—a Addiction Psychologist Person-Centred Psychotherapist with a passion for recovery from substance use, mental healthand well-being. Over the last 50 years, I've worn many hats—a Dad, Husband, ex 'Corporate Suit,' Mature Student, Camper Van enthusiast and I've even worked in a Prison. As a Member of Addictipn Professionals and registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) I'm committed to creating a safe and supportive space for everyone's emotional journey. As an Addiction Psychologist I have a broad experience in the field of substance misuse and addiction counselling having worked with The Priory, NHS Inclusion, Practice Plus Group and HMP Winchester. I'm also a member of Addiction Professionals. Rather than offering quick-fix solutions to the complex issues I offer a bespoke service that is person-centred in its approach and works with the client to support and facilitate their recovery.
