Mental health support for wellbeing

About me and my practice

I am an experienced psychotherapist specializing in the treatment of addictions, complex trauma, and personality disorders. With over 15 years of clinical experience, I integrate evidence-based approaches including CBT, schema therapy, EMDR (Levels 1 and 2), DBT, and Gestalt therapy to support individuals on their journey to recovery. I currently work 40+ hours per week as a therapist in an inpatient addiction clinic where I provide individual therapy, facilitate group sessions, and provide psychoeducation. My approach addresses the mind, emotions, and body, including mindfulness, DBT, breathwork, and somatic techniques. In addition to my clinical work, I volunteer 10+ hours per week providing counseling and trauma therapy to combat veterans, individuals with addictions, BPD, PD, and trauma-related disorders. This work is essential to helping clients process their experiences, build emotional resilience and restore stability. I am part of an interdisciplinary team, working under the supervision of Maria Moore, a certified specialist, and alongside an MBACP-accredited therapist as team leader. Continuing professional development is central to my practice and I am currently pursuing accreditation in Gestalt therapy, whilst also pursuing further specialization in trauma and rehabilitation psychology.
