I have been working in the field of addiction and eating disorders for 20 years, I facilitate groups in a community treatment setting and practice one to one counselling in my private practice. I provide training for health providers looking at using the addiction model for working with disordered eating. I have lived experience of addiction which informs my practice and am over 33 years in recovery.The main objective of the Practitioner Directory is to protect the public and help them find practitioners they can trust.
It aims to reassure clients, employers and the general public that AP Practitioner Members / Advanced Practitioner Members are committed to upholding our Standards of Conduct and Ethics.
