Addictions counsellor/psychotherapist - Integrative counsellor/psychotherapist - I am Accredited Registrant Member of the NCPS.

About me and my practice

I have worked in the field of addiction for five years, and with my own lived experience of addiction recovery, I know that change is possible, and that addiction does not define a person. It is complex and often rooted in trauma, with each person’s experience being entirely unique. Because of this, I don’t use a single, fixed approach. I am an integrative therapist, drawing from psychodynamic, humanistic, and trauma-informed models, tailoring the work to the individual. I also have experience with 12-step programmes and approaches, and for several years I have worked as a therapist in a central London rehab clinic. In my view, addiction is often just the surface — together we can explore the underlying causes and conditions. Alongside addiction, I also work with anxiety, burnout, grief, and life transitions, offering a compassionate, non-judgemental space where empathy and understanding are at the heart of the process.

Experience

I work with clients on a one-to-one basis, facilitate group therapy, and support families affected by addiction. My experience includes working with both substance-related and behavioural addictions such as gambling, sex addiction, and eating disorders, often alongside co-occurring conditions and dual diagnosis. My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic models to suit each client’s needs. I aim to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your challenges, develop coping strategies, and work towards meaningful change.
