About me and my practice
I have been around the field of addiction for almost 30 years, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families navigating recovery and complex care systems. At Systemic Changes, we take a distinctive and highly individualized approach to every client, recognizing that each journey is unique. Our case managers are resourceful and compassionate, collaborating closely with clients to create tailored, bespoke care plans. When needed, we build multidisciplinary clinical teams around the client, ensuring nothing is overlooked and that every aspect of care is addressed. Our Crisis intervention and management provides a safe transition out of crisis for both families, colleagues and loved ones. Our coaches are trained to work with our CQC-registered partners and hold additional specialist qualifications to support clients at every stage of recovery. We provide a comprehensive range of services, including Case Management which ensures a safe structure around our clients, safe transportation, recovery coaching, and doctor-led interventions for complex cases. This allows us to connect medical, clinical and therapeutic support into one coordinated response, delivering a fully integrated and seamless response. Our Newly Prehab programme offers short-term, medically supported stabilisation — providing up to 72 hours of dedicated care to prepare clients safely and effectively for residential treatment. Our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), risk assessments, and safeguarding protocols have been developed in collaboration with a paramedic from a critical care team, ensuring that every service we deliver is grounded in medical precision, safety, and professionalism. Through this integrated model, Systemic Changes offers complete wrap-around care — ensuring no detail is missed and every client receives the highest standard of support within their community.
