About me and my practice

I’m an experienced addiction specialist and counsellor with over 20 years supporting people through substance use and behaviour change. My work is grounded in a human, compassionate approach, creating a safe and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and at your own pace. I have a strong background in relapse prevention, crisis support, and behaviour change, and I’ve worked across residential treatment, community services, and senior clinical roles. This has given me a deep understanding of the challenges people face, both personally and in their professional lives.

The main objective of the Practitioner Directory is to protect the public and help them find practitioners they can trust.

It aims to reassure clients, employers and the general public that AP Practitioner Members / Advanced Practitioner Members are committed to upholding our Standards of Conduct and Ethics. This is not a complete list of AP Practitioner/ Advanced Practitioner Members.  If you want to search the whole directory, please use the search box in the menu. Practitioners who are accredited with the National Counsellor Accreditation Certificate have 'NCAC' after their names. Practitioners who have the Drug and Alcohol Professional Certificate have 'ADAP' after their names.
