Counsellor

About me and my practice

My office is based in my home right now, as I want to have a relaxed, homely feel for my clients to come into. My background is in preschool, primary school, and neurodivergent children for almost 25 years. I set up my private practice a year ago when I qualified, and I am based in Glasgow or Aviemore and Boat of Garten. I also do online and I have a Level 8 in online counselling and addiction.

Outline of offer

I offer £50 per hour or £70 for 90 minutes

Experience

I have experience with suicidal ideation, ex-prisoners, and historical sexual abuse. I also have experience with neurodivergence both professionally and personally. I have my ASIST qualification and a level 8 in addiction.

It aims to reassure clients, employers and the general public that AP Practitioner Members / Advanced Practitioner Members are committed to upholding our Standards of Conduct and Ethics. This is not a complete list of AP Practitioner/ Advanced Practitioner Members.  If you want to search the whole directory, please use the search box in the menu. Practitioners who are accredited with the National Counsellor Accreditation Certificate have 'NCAC' after their names. Practitioners who have the Drug and Alcohol Professional Certificate have 'ADAP' after their names.
