The Centre for Evidence Based Drug Policy is launching a new project to gather insights from prescribers on improving Opioid Agonist Treatment in England.

Led by Alex Piot (Director of Research) the project aims to identify challenges and propose practical solutions to enhance prescribing practices/policies and, most importantly, patient care. Interviews will last approximately one hour and will cover various aspects of OAT prescribing, focusing on how it can be improved.

The project also welcomes input from Scotland to explore the impact of the MAT standards on prescribing, client satisfaction, and service engagement. This consultation will help shape a policy brief and campaign to advocate for changes in Parliament.

If you are interested in contributing your expertise, please contact Alex directly at alex.piot@drugpolicycentre.org. Your input would be very much appreciated and is crucial in shaping the future of OAT policy.
