Free Webinar: Alcohol Assertive Outreach Treatment

In this webinar, led by the NIHR's Mental Health Implementation Network, we will be discussing a model of care originally developed for people with severe mental illness, which has been used effectively to support patients with alcohol dependence and high levels of alcohol-related hospital attendance. The findings of two independent but collaborating mixed methods research projects in Hull and Greater Manchester will be presented. Both projects aimed to evaluate the implementation of the Alcohol Assertive Outreach Treatment (AAOT) model. 

Project leads will discuss the evidence base for the model, along with the most important findings from each research site. Experts by experience who received support from teams in Hull and Manchester will share their insights, and future directions of the project will be discussed. The webinar will end with a Q&A where all are encouraged to share their thoughts and reflections.
