Prevalence of neurodivergence in drug and alcohol treatment services: intersecting needs and implications for practice
This session presents findings from a collaborative research project between the University of East London, University of Roehampton, and Cranstoun Drug and Alcohol Service (Sutton and Windsor & Maidenhead).
The study explores the intersection of:
• Neurodivergence
• Substance and behavioural addictions
• Mental health
• Self-disclosed trauma
• Lived experiences of navigating healthcare systems
We will discuss how these intersecting factors shape treatment journeys and what this means for developing more inclusive, trauma-informed, and person-centred services.
This webinar is particularly relevant for practitioners, service leads, commissioners, researchers, and anyone working within addiction, mental health, and allied support services.
Free to attend
Join us to reflect on how services can better meet the complex, overlapping needs of the people we support.
