Do you work for a UK based alcohol treatment or recovery service? The University of Sheffield want to hear from you!
The Sheffield Addictions Research Group (SARG) is inviting professionals from alcohol treatment and recovery services to give their insights to a new study investigating the guidance provided to service users regarding alcohol-free drinks.
The project aims to map the diversity of advice currently available to service users and identify the perceived benefits and risks of alcohol-free drinks. It will help improve our understanding of the current UK landscape and build evidence to inform national guidance.
We’re looking for people who meet the following criteria:
- are aged 18 years or above
- currently work or - have worked within the last 2 years - in a client-facing support/advisory role within a non-NHS alcohol treatment/recovery service in the UK (Including LEROs).
If this sounds like you, please support the university by completing this short anonymous survey which gathers data about the advice you give to service-users and your beliefs about using alcohol-free drinks in recovery.
